Out of the Office
Really nice to have a place to go that doesn't look like my office. Or any office. Saturday night's show was why I do improv. A place to play without any hierarchy. No one to manage. No bottom line to make. Just fun with people I like. Thanks to each of you for your generosity.
I know how you feel M. I've been under an enormous amount of stress at work this month. All week I had been looking forward to these shows. There were so many choice moments and I'm really happy that we not only had a full audience to share our good times with, but also a number of our friends were able to come out and catch the shows!
Well said! It was a great weekend of shows. Friday may have had its CLUNKERS but we did have fun. Our team really seems to have gelled well. We've gotten to be friends and it shows on stage by the fun we have with each other.
Really sorry to have missed Saturday, but maybe that was the key to your success. I'm glad you had such a rocker, given that Friday's show fell short of our expectations. Coming back strong is a sign of a great team and strong performers.
Let's make Saturday's show the rule rather than the exception.
