The gauntlet is thrown!!
At Wednesday's rehearsal, Jason (while holding the truth orb) challenged me to stretch myself and actually play some characters in games like Party Quirks. That means using accents, having wants, and trying to physically embody the Martha Stewarts and Ryan Seacrests of the world. So, I accept the challenge and will try and step it up. I'm hoping that others in the troupe can help me attain this stretch goal through coaching, suggestions and keeping me honest. If you see the basic aspects of Mookie on stage when I'm supposed to be playing another character, let me know. My two goals this rotation are mime work and character work. And whenever see each other succeeding in stretch goals such as this, we should be sure to give them acknowledgement (sincere, specific and selective).

You are not alone, my friend. Your journey is forward. I will personally be honored to help you achieve your goals - make them SMART - specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, and time-bound. Set a BHAG - big, hairy, audacious goal - and don't be thrown if someone Moves Your Cheese. Remember, people first, tasks second. And what gets measured gets done. You aren't "selling" , you are "helping people buy". Don't fight with your non-talent areas, but rather soar with your strengths. Deliver an ROI and you'll be the VIP. I salute you, INSP! From fromt he bottom of my ENFJ soul. I know you can do it! Everyone is in your corner if you live in a circle. Love your neighbor. Don't slouch. And be grateful for that stupid crocheted kleenex box cover your grandma made you. Onward!
I believe Maureen really summed it up. I think. That is a lot of acronyms, and I cant lie, my head popped after BHAG. None the less, I believe she has said that we will support you and nurture your goal. Play with abandonment, and you shall succeed. ( Thank you for taking the new challenge with vigor )
What? No more climbing on chairs? No more Ka-MOOKIE theater?!?!?!?!?
I will miss the spitting.
You actually listen to what Jason has to say??
I'll definitely sign up for helping you "through coaching, suggestions and keeping [you] honest." Bobby Knight is my role model. If you see a chair fly unto the stage, you'll know you're coming up short.
Maureen, you make me glad to work in government. That has not always been the case. Thank you.
