I can't believe how quickly this six months has gone by! I have really enjoyed being a part of this troupe. Jason's guidance and patience (yes, I said patience) really helped me to focus and listen. His rehearsals really helped me improve from show-to-show. Maureen gave me great insight on how to "play" and gave me great tips on the right characters for certain structures. Plus, it was always fun when Stevie came to play with us.
Honestly, every one of you on this team has taught me something. Things, that I will later claim to be "part of my own clever design."
Thanks!

I can't wait until I'm back from Arizona (though the 60 degree afternoons ain't bad)for our last show! It's been a really incredible six months and I've really enjoyed growing as an improviser. You go through phases where you're excited about your performances and then you're frustrated with how you're progressing. This rotation, I've always felt like each show was an opportunity to try something new (like hosting), have a special moment with someone new (like singing with Dr. Butler) or learn how to tell a joke (Foxworthy is a new world for me!). You're all so entertaining, delightful and clever people. Don't stop the rock!
Yes, 6 months ago we were a rag-tag team of improvisors. Daylight was diminishing and winter was on the horizon. Now after Jason's boot camp, we leave with our heads held high, knowing we delivered weekend after weekend. Ready to face the world. On whoseever team I find myself, my loyalties are here, to you people. Damn, you're all good.
You all rock. Seriously, there is no better group to perform with, then yall. You have brought some serious pride to what we do and it shows. Keep bringing the play.
Oh goodness, I am bawling my eyese ou right now people!!! Its simply too beautiful.
Okay, I'm better now.
Serioulsy, this run has been a blast. Most fun I've had at Stevie Ray's to date (and there has been a lot of fun). Thanks for playing like you mean it.
